The breath in you is the breath in me
For us, the air is everything and yet nothing. Odorless and tasteless, without color, without any real property, not visually. This air-nothingness should be grasped and felt in the present work. We need the air to breathe and only with the breath do we come into contact with our world, with the other. The connection of the self with the outside through the necessity of breathing is essential to this work. This also includes the question of how and what we breathe with regard to environmental and anthropogenic influences on our air. The design consists of a collection of air spaces and breaths that are manifested in several experimental videos. These are accompanied by air sculptures, which also make the air physically tangible. The work is conceived for an exhibition and, like the air, is distributed in the room through several small video screens.
