There’s nothing to be seen here!
This final diploma work is based on a series of interventions which make problems disappear – and therefore visible. The tools and methods of making things disappear vary: from throwing blankets that look like a pavement on top of things to painting things/objects. The rules for the intervention process with blankets were those:
I make the decision to intervene.
I choose my tool (one of 5 blankets).
I leave the starting point on foot.
I walk randomly but not aimlessly.
I find a problem
I take my tools out of the bag.
I unfold the tool.
I solve the problem and hide the object.
I document the successful application of the method.
I take the tool.
I put the tool into the bag.
I keep walking
I keep walking
I keep walking
...
I don't see a problem.
I keep walking
I keep walking
...
I make the decision not to intervene any further.
I go back to the starting point.
I put my tools back.
I don't see a problem.
