Synopsis of speed

An excursion to the ‘land of speed’. The history—of speed—arises from the connection of individual facts secured by research, their togetherness and opposition, their chronological sequence and mutual conditionality. Each development series has taken over essentials from its ancestors, which unfold anew under changed conditions. In order to capture the phenomena of speed, a series of five posters were generated. The different manifestations of acceleration are visually interpreted by transforming and varying a basic geometric shape. Overall, it should encourage the viewer to deal with the expansive acceleration. This takes place with advancing technology within all areas of life.
