33 people is a project that documents a joint action of 33 people in 33 locations on September 28th, 2009 at 12:00:00 am, spanning time and space. The same common thought of a little black ‘x’ that is virtually placed on top of the ‘Brandenburg Gate’ in Berlin bundles and connects those involved at this moment in time. Everyone involved was asked to take photos of themselves and the ground underneath their feet while Patrick was standing at the ‘Brandenburg Gate’ at exactly that moment in time to take a photo too. The medium of the folding poster brings the viewer/user closer to this moment but also takes up metaphysical questions about belief and existence.
