The design of a poster for a High Noon talk by artist Gerhard Lang at the Faculty of Design in Darmstadt. Before we started to design, we visited the artist on site at his studio and home in the Odenwald. We played together, and learned a lot about his way of working and his work itself. Gerhard Lang was a student of Lucius Burckhardt (inventor of the science of walking (Spaziergangswissenschaft)). He studied in Kassel and London (Slade). The design of the poster should be conceived as a homage to the work of Gerhard Lang and announce the lecture approriately.
