At Second Glance
At first glance, you see a book. At second glance it's rather the image of a book. A book that pictures a book. A text that describes a text. It speaks of itself, but what is it in doing so? These and other questions are posed by the work on paradoxes and reality. Questions to the reader! Or rather the viewer? Or to say it with René Magritte: ‘An image is not to be confused with what one sees.’
